How do I nominate a person to be in the voting for the next Community Miniature?

Will they be in the shop afterwards?
Yes, if you don’t want to get involved in the crowdfunding element you can buy the minis from the shop, once completed they will be added to the shop, and available to buy as normal HERE (as well as available to our retailers).
Do I need to participate in all the voting rounds, or any of the rounds?
Nope! And if you missed the chance to add the suggestion you want in round one, just wait til the next community mini when it starts all over again! A good way to keep up to date is to SIGN UP TO OUR NEWSLETTER .
Where does the voting and discussion take place?
Here! I am sorry if you don’t/can’t use Facebook, it’s the platform that works the best for us, but you can still submit your thoughts and nominations across the other social media or direct to us on email.
How do I know what current miniature we are funding?
It will be shown above all the minis here.
Will these minis be limited?
The miniatures will not, but the first 100 sold will get a free, hand numbered collectable card with information written by Annie Norman and exclusive artwork by Martin Whitmore.
Can I add my pre order to a later order?
Especially if you live outside the UK, it could be handy to combine with another order, or a few community minis at once. You can do this by selecting it, and then at the checkout choose “Combine with another order”, this option only comes up with the “yet to be funded” miniature. Then, once the mini is available, just put a note in the next order and they’ll go together.
How often will these be running?
Depends how fast the money bar fills up – we plan to run these indefinitely if it works out, so the more popular – the more minis, yay!

Can I give you money even if I don’t want the mini?
Of course, that’s why we originally set up a Ko-Fi – people who just want to help out but don’t necessarily want or need anything in return. If you mention Community Miniature in the donation, we’ll increase the current total by that amount. You can also do this if you’ve pre ordered but want to add a “tip”. Anything sent via here is considered a donation so you won’t get any store credit or minis in return.
How long from pre ordering will I have to wait til I get the mini?
Who knows! That’s the risk of the project, but at least it’s only £5 you’ve put in, it would be much more of an issue if it was big bucks. If you’re not happy to do this, you can still buy the “funded” miniatures or wait til one is. But the more people who pitch in early, the quicker the mini is made, and then the next mini, and so on.
What if the miniature doesn’t fund?
Well it better do! We’ve funded 13 miniatures to date (March 2024) so it’s unlikely this will happen. If it’s taking a REALLY long time, we may call it quits, fund the rest ourselves so you get the model, and then reconsider the project. Which would suck, but is a back up plan.
